Uttrakhand State Consultative workshop for strengthening Medicinal Plants sector is proposed to be held on 21-22 January 2020 at Ranikhet. Regional Director,Regional cum Felicitation centre,Northern region Dr Arun Chandan told to Ayush Darpan that we are inviting all stakeholders of Uttarakhand to participate in this workshop .This is a consultative workshop for strengthening medicinal plants sector in Uttarakhand state. The objectives of this workshop are to discuss various issues related to the smoothening of the supply chain management of this sector. We are inviting the diverse stakeholders to address the gaps in supply chain management and solution so as to make medicinal plants cultivation and conservation a sustainable activity in the state.
Sessions are related to biodiversity conservation, utilisation, legal issues of extraction, procurement, subsidy/minimum support price, crop insurance, convergence with existing activities etc.
Before to start the workshop, a meeting of the stakeholders of your state has been fixed on 21st January, 2020, at 1 PM after lunch at Bhole Baba Ayurvedic Hospital & Research Centre, Chilianula, Ranikhet, Uttarakhand to draw the agenda and the recommendations for the formal discussion and adoption on the second day of the workshop on 22nd Junuary, 2020 which will be presided over by the Secretary, AYUSH, GOI, New Delhi.
