National Workshop on pain management was successfully organized at Dehradun
10 min readAyush Darpan Foundation has organized a successful practical workshop on pain management at Dehradun.More than 100 Delegates from Punjab,Kerala,Maharashtra and Nepal learned the practical tips beneficial for their clinical practice.Workshop was inaugurated by State Drug Controller of Uttarakhand Dr Yatendra Singh Rawat by lighting the lamp followed by Dhanvantari Vandana .The guest of honor of the programme was Prof.Balkrishna Panwar of Gurukul campus Haridwar.The programme started with the keynote speech of Viddhagni expert from MumbaiDr Uday Kulkarni ,who gave the practical tips of management of pain through piercing heat technique .He specifically designed a Viddhagni instrument in which the heat will be pierced through skin which kills the pain.He told the participants that this technique gives the best solution of instant pain management in their private practice.The second lecture was of Dr Madhura Kulkarni from Mumbai who gave hands on training on Uttar Basti ( a technique in which medicated douch is given through vaginal route) to the participants through a model.Best part of the workshop was the live demonstration of Leech application by Dr Varsha Saxena of Uttarakhand Ayurved University ,who directly showed the method of application of leech in a alopecia patient .A very informative practical lecture on wound management was given by Dr Neelam Sajwan of Uttarakhand Ayurved University .Vaidya Sushant Mishra had also shown his practical experience on pulse diagnosis to the participants through audio-visual and hands on technique. In post lunch session the Amil Pharma ASM Sri Navin Prakash Dhyani presented the research background of different products .Dr Navin Joshi of Uttarakhand Ayurved University had also presented the hands on training on marma science to the participants .The final lecture on different Ayurvedic formulation was presented by expert Dr Rajeev Kurele .The Session was followed by validictory session in which Dr Radhaballabh Sati,
Campus Director,Faculty of Ayurved,Main campus,Uttarakhand Ayurved University,Dehradun had distributed certificates to the participants .The students from Tribhuvan University and Patanjali Ayurvedic College ,Dhulikhel,Nepal Abhisar Adhikari ,Liyan Poudel and Jenima Sapkota Aryal told our correspondent that the workshop was a very informative and fruitful experience for them. Dr Nand Kishor Dadhich ,Dr Amit Tamadadi ,Dr P.K Gupta,Dr Balkrishna Panwar,Dr Dheeraj Tyagi,Dr Dinesh Joshi,Dr Ajay Chamola and Dr J.N.Nautiyal ,Dr Deepak Semwal were felicitated .An Online Quiz Contest was conducted by Nirog Street during the workshop where Priyanshi Sisodiya , Mohit Sharma and Shadamani Ansari from Patanjali Ayurvedic College ,Haridwar received Gift Hampers from Nirog Street. Final vote of thanks was given by Dr Mayank Bhatkoti.
