Consultative workshop for strengthening medicinal plant sector of Uttarakhand is inaugurated today on Bholebaba Ayurvedic Research Centre,Chilaynaula,Ranikhet,Almora.
This workshop is jointly organized by Ayush Ministry,Regional cum Felicitation Centre,North Indian Region and National Medicinal Plant Board in association with Lok Chetna Manch.The Director of Bhole Baba Ayurvedic Research Centre ,Chilyanaula ,Almora,Dr Vijaysheel Upadhyay in his welcome address explained the spiritual essence of the institute to all the participants .In this workshop the main speakers are Dr Vijaykant Purohit,Dr Arun Chandan,Director RCFCNR-1,Dr M.S.Rawat from NMPB ,Dr Sunil Shah from CAP.
In first day their is a interaction between the farmers Shri Govind Singh Negi,Shri Pushkar Singh Negi,Dhirendra Singh Negi,Kunwar Singh Negi.Farmers notified the main issue of unavailabilty of standard seed .Miss Anusaya Datta from Udyogini Sanstha also explained her work in Uttarakhand region and also the challenges faced by her organization.In this programme Dr Navin Joshi and Dr Deep Chandra Pandey are the expert from Uttarakhand Ayurved University while Dr K.S .Napalchyal,District Ayurved Unani Officer ,Almora and Dr Kuber Singh Adhikari are the representatives of District Ayurved and Unani Department Almora.Tomoroow Secretary Ayush ,Government of India,Padmashri Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha and other policy makers will also present in the workshop.
