Collective effort from all the agencies will definitely uplift the scope of Ayurved in Himalayan state Uttarakhand .In his presidential speech secretary Ayush Government of India Padmashri Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha told to farmers,scientist ,NGO’s and the government officials that we facilitate state government agencies to work more in medicinal plant sector.He said to farmers that he understood the problems faced by them and we are constantly working with National as well as state agencies to solve these issues .He told the officials that more motivation should be given to farmers so that they will be intrested to cultivate the medicinal plants .He appreciated the work done by District Almora in the field of Ayush and told that by collective effort of state and central agencies Almora soon becomes a state model Ayurvedic district.He told that for opening 50 bedded hospital in almora we will talk with state officials .Secretary Ayush Padmashri Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha explained the various central schemes for Ayurveda launched by Department of Ayush.In this programme he also interacted with the farmers of Uttarakhand and assured that the issue raised by them will definitely be resolved .He also felicitated the 60 progressive farmers with shawl and appreciation certificate.He told that due to hilly state their are many issues which create hurdle in getting the good production value to local farmers.Secretary Ayush told that Ayurved University should come out from the limited work only of ayush education and should be more connected with peoples to resolve their issues in this Ayush sector.He told all the participants that the issues raised by them will definitely be cared of.He also appreciated the facilities given by Bholebaba Ayurvedic Research Centre ,Haidakhan ,Ranikhet for needy people .Other guests are Padmashri Dr Arvind Lal,CEO of National Medicinal Plant Board ,Dr J.N.Shastry ,Director Jadee Bootee Sodh Sansthan Dr C.S .Sanwal,Sri Jogender Bisht of Lok Chetna Manch ,Dr Vijay kant Purohit,Dr Vijay sheel Upadhyay and Programme coordinator Dr Arun Chandan of RCFC .Final vote of thanks was given by Dr K.S.Napalchyal and Dr Navin Joshi.
