Food festival organized in Uttarakhand Ayurvedic University

Food festival was organised at uttarakhand ayurved university main campus Dehradun


According to the instructions of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, in the Faculty of Ayurveda ,main campus of Uttarakhand Ayurved University, an inter-university food festival was organized under the program ” Har Ghar Har Din Ayurveda ” This is one of the awareness programme organized for the upcoming Ayurveda Day 2022 celebration.. Inaugurating the Food Festival, V.C.Professor Sunil Joshi said that it is mandatory for the people to take ayurvedic diet in present times and this food festival will generate even more awareness among the people in this direction.He Congratulate to the team of Uttarakhand Ayurved University for organizing Ayurvedic food festival in the state capital. Apart from the campuses related to Ayurveda University, students of Qwadra Ayurveda College, Uttaranchal Ayurveda College, Shivalik Ayurveda College, Core Ayurvedic College, Doon Ayurvedic College, set up their stalls with various recipes based on Ayurvedic diet . In these, people liked Ayurvedic Barfi, Ayurvedic Momos, Ayurvedic Drinks, Jhingore Kheer, Ragi Roti, Giloy Chutney, Madwe Ka Laddu, Chincha Panak, Ayurvedic sattu, etc. A special plate for the patients of anemia and piles was a matter of curiosity for the people.A separate stall was set up for the food in seasonal diseases, in which most of the recipes were Ayurvedic.Healthy plate to increase immunity was also the center of interest for the people who participated in the program. Among the students, third prize was given to Shivalik Ayurveda College Dehradun, second prize to Uttarakhand Ayurved University Main Campus and first prize jointly to Gurukul Campus Haridwar and Rishikul Campus Haridwar. Consolation prizes were given to Uttaranchal Ayurvedic College Dehradun, Core Ayurvedic College Haridwar and Quadra Ayurvedic College Haridwar. Selfie point was also made for the promotion of Ayurvedic diet at the venue,In the program, street play was organized by students of RishiKul Ayurvedic College, in which the use of diet in staying healthy was beautifully caricatured. The program was shown in the best way, seeing the interest of the general public including students, finally the program was concluded in presence of Dr. DC Singh, Dr. Pankaj Sharma, Dr. DP Panyuli, Dr. Ajay Gupta, Dr. Ajay Gupta, Dr. Ajay Vishwakarma, Registrar Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Dr. Shailendra, Deputy Registrar, Finance Officer Amit Jain, Dr. Rajiv Kurele, Dr. Naveen Joshi, Chandramohan Panuli, Dr. Ila Tanna, Dr. Jaya Kala, Dr. Vatsala Pandey, Dr. Richa Sharma, Dr. Anjana Tank etc. The program was well conducted on stage by Deputy Registrar Dr Sanjay Gupta.
