“Yoga Break Protocol Practiced in Dehradun for Office Stress Management and Productivity Enhancement”
In an effort to promote workplace wellness, a Yoga Break Protocol was implemented in Dehradun, focusing on managing office stress and enhancing productivity. The initiative encourages employees to take short yoga breaks during working hours to improve mental well-being and overall efficiency.

The “Yoga Break Protocol” , developed by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, to reduce workplace stress and enhance employee productivity, was practiced today at the Directorate of Health Services office located in Dehradun. This program was organized by the District Ayurveda and Unani Officer’s Office, Dehradun .
On this occasion, all officers and staff members of the Directorate participated with great enthusiasm. Dr. Tara Arya, Director General of Health Services, stated that “Office stress has become a common challenge in today’s time. In such a scenario, brief and effective practices like the Yoga Break Protocol not only provide mental relief but also improve concentration and work efficiency among employees.” She encouraged all doctors and staff to regularly adopt this practice.
Dr. C. P. Tripathi, Director of Health, highlighted the scientific aspects of yoga and explained its scientific relevance.
Senior physician Dr. Naveen Joshi conducted a session on “Mindful Wellness” techniques, providing employees with an opportunity to understand the art of mental alertness, mindfulness, and self-control.
Yoga assistant Shri Sumit and Dr. Sugam Tiwari provided technical support throughout the program.
Earlier, the **Directorate of Ayurveda and Unani Services** also successfully conducted a Yoga Break Protocol session, attended by Joint Director Dr. K. S. Naplachyal, Dr. R. P. Singh, and all administrative officers and staff members.
The program commenced at the District Ayurveda and Unani Officer’s Office, Dehradun, where Dr. G. S. Jangpangi (District Ayurveda Officer), Dr. Savita Kothiyal, Dr. Amit Yadav, Dr. Harimohan Tripathi, along with all other officials and employees, participated in the Yoga Break Protocol session.
This initiative is not only a significant step towards improving workplace health but also a practical effort to make employees more productive and balanced through mental and physical well-being.
