Best Paper & Best Poster Awards Announced at International Ayurveda Conference, Bengaluru

The International Ayurveda Conference organized by Ayush Darpan Foundation Trust and Himayu Care in Bengaluru saw over 100 research submissions. Dr. Karthika Kovaram won the Best Paper Award for her study on Varmam Therapy for ADHD, while Dr. Praveen Sri received the Best Poster Award for his work on Siddha Varmam Therapy in hearing loss. Keynote sessions were delivered by Prof. K. K. Pandey (BHU), Vaidya Hemlata Sharma (Singapore), and Vaidya Rajan Patankar (Mumbai).

The Ayush Darpan Foundation Trust, in collaboration with Himayu Care, successfully organized the International Conference & Workshop on Marma Therapy, Nadi Pariksha, and Viddha Agnikarma in India’s IT hub — Bengaluru.
The event witnessed an overwhelming academic response with over 100 research papers and posters submitted from across the country.

A jury panel comprising Dr. Jayashri, Dr. Priyarajan Tiwari, Dr. Manjula, and Dr. Deepti evaluated all submissions and selected the best entries for presentation.

Best Paper Award

  • Dr. Karthika Kovaram
    “Varmam Therapy for ADHD: A Primary Prognosis – A Case Report”
    was honored with the Best Paper Award for her outstanding research contribution.

Best Poster Award

  • Dr. Praveen Sri
    “Effect of Siddha Varmam Therapy in Hearing Loss – A Case Report”
    won the Best Poster Award, earning appreciation from the entire jury panel.

In addition, the papers and posters presented by Dr. Hariprashanth, Dr. Mithun R, and Dr. Sharyu Dake were also highly appreciated for their quality and clinical insights.
