Ayurveda Institute Enhances Public Health Services; Launches 2 New OPDs

The All India Institute of Ayurveda, Goa, has strengthened its healthcare services by launching two new OPDs—Health Assessment Screening and Dental OPD. The institute has also upgraded Panchakarma and pediatric Ayurveda facilities, ensuring more comprehensive, integrative, and community-focused Ayurvedic care for patients.

Panaji, Goa – 12 December 2025: The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Goa campus, has significantly expanded its healthcare delivery by inaugurating two new Outpatient Departments (OPDs) — a Health Assessment Screening OPD and a Dental OPD — to improve access to traditional and integrative care for patients from Goa and neighbouring regions.The expansion aims to strengthen comprehensive AYUSH healthcare services by offering preventive and curative consultations in Ayurveda alongside dental wellness support under one roof. The institute also introduced enhanced Panchakarma facilities in the Kayachikitsa and Kaumarbhritya departments and broadened its inpatient services to better address community health needs. Since its foundation, AIIA Goa has provided free Ayurvedic medicines and care to thousands of patients, conducting over 800 OPD consultations daily and organising regular health camps focused on generalized wellness and disease-specific screening.Since its foundation, These developments align with the government’s vision of promoting holistic healthcare through AYUSH systems and strengthening the role of Ayurveda in preventive, promotive, and integrative medicine.
